boiid

boiid chooses ads from what a page is about, never from who is reading it. This policy explains what we process for people who read pages that show boiid ads, and for advertisers and publishers who hold a boiid account.

Readers of publisher sites

When a page loads the boiid widget, your browser sends us the request details every website receives: your IP address, your browser's user agent and the address of the page. We use them as follows.

The widget sets no cookies, uses no local storage, does no fingerprinting and builds no profile of you across sites. We do not use your data for retargeting and we do not sell it.

Advertisers and publishers

When you create an account we store:

Advertisers pay by invoice and bank transfer, or by card where card payments are offered. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your card number.

Cookies on the boiid website

The boiid website uses two strictly necessary cookies when you use your account: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived cookie, deleted after one minute, that shows confirmation messages. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

Pages we read

To match ads to context, we fetch the public pages of publisher sites and, where available, their public dependency manifests. We also download the logo an advertiser links to so it can be reviewed and served from our servers.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep data

We keep account data while your account is open. We keep billing and payout records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. View and click records are kept for billing, statistics and fraud review.

Your rights

You can see and edit your profile at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account, subject to records we must keep by law.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell account holders about material changes before they take effect.
