These terms apply to everyone who creates a boiid account to advertise or to publish ads. By creating an account you agree to them.
Accounts
You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Advertisers
- Prepaid balance. You add funds before your campaigns run, starting from $100. Campaigns spend from that balance and stop when it runs out.
- Pricing. You set a maximum CPM of at least $1. Prices clear in a second-price auction, so you usually pay less than your maximum and never more. Clicks are not billed.
- Budget and schedule. Each campaign has a total budget and either an end date or a daily cap. We pace delivery to spend the budget evenly, across each day and, with an end date, across the days left. On the last day of a campaign with an end date, pacing stops and the campaign is shown first wherever it qualifies, to spend what is left. A campaign never spends more than its total budget and stops after its end date or once the budget is spent.
- Unspent budget. If budget is left after the end date, you can extend the campaign to a new end date or request a refund of the unspent amount, up to your balance. Refunds start at $5. Below that, you can extend the campaign, or leave the amount on your balance for a future campaign. Balances do not expire. Refunds are paid by the method you used to pay.
- Minimum views. A campaign that spends its full budget receives at least its total budget divided by its maximum CPM, per 1,000 views.
- Billing. You are charged for viewable impressions: at least half of the ad visible for one continuous second. You pay only for genuine views. Traffic we identify as invalid is not billed, and if a charged view is later identified as invalid, its amount is returned to your balance.
- Review. Every ad is reviewed before it runs and again after copy or targeting changes. We may reject or stop ads that are misleading, unlawful, unsafe or not relevant to developers.
- Your content. You confirm you have the right to use the text, links and logos in your ads, and you let us display them on publisher sites.
Publishers
- Eligibility. You must own or control the sites you add and verify them by DNS or a file before you earn.
- Revenue share. You receive 80% of what advertisers pay for viewable impressions on your verified sites. We do not guarantee any minimum earnings.
- Measurement. Views, clicks and earnings are counted from our records, which are final. We aim to record every view, but a small share, up to 5%, may go unrecorded or unbilled because of network faults, views that arrive after a campaign's budget or schedule has ended, or similar causes. Such views are not paid.
- Payouts. Earnings become payable 30 days after they are earned. You can request a payout to PayPal or Wise once your payable balance reaches $50.
- Invalid traffic. You must not click your own ads, buy or generate traffic, or encourage others to do so. Earnings from invalid traffic are not paid, and may be reversed if found later.
- Placement. Keep the ad visible and unaltered, and do not place it on pages with unlawful or harmful content.
